Tom’s California visit

Wednesday October 7 thru October 11

I had reconnected over the phone with cousin Roger Sachs in early September 2020. We had only seen each other once since 1963 so it was decided Tom would visit Roger and Roxanne in Santa Maria, California in early October. Joan and I had a Wyoming trip already scheduled October 11 - 18 so I flew to Roger’s home Wednesday October 7 and would then reconnect with Joan in Salt Lake City on Sunday October 11.

Santa Maria, California

Tom flew Columbus to Denver to Santa Barbara, California the morning of Wednesday October 7. Arrived Santa Barbara about 1 pm then drove the 75 miles to Santa Maria. Roger and Roxanne had invited me to their Wednesday evening service at Pearl Chapel by the Sea.
